Terms, Independence & Disclaimer

Important conditions governing use of the AHQS website, resources and service descriptions.

Website Purpose

This website provides general information about AHQS consulting services and digital products. Website content is informational and does not itself create a consultant-client relationship, accreditation engagement, legal relationship, or professional-services contract.

No Accreditation Decision or Guarantee

AHQS provides independent advisory, preparation, quality-improvement and readiness support. AHQS does not grant, certify, issue or guarantee JCI, ISO 15189, CAP, AABB or any other accreditation or certification. Accreditation decisions remain solely with the applicable authorized body.

Client Responsibility

Healthcare organizations remain responsible for determining and complying with their current applicable laws, regulations, standards, accreditation requirements and internal policies. AHQS recommendations must be evaluated within the client’s own governance, legal, clinical and regulatory context.

No Medical or Legal Advice

AHQS website content is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment advice or legal advice. Formal engagements may include professional quality and accreditation consulting within an agreed scope, but do not replace advice from licensed legal counsel, treating clinicians or authorized regulators/accreditors where such advice is required.

Digital Products & Intellectual Property

AHQS digital products are licensed for the use described in their product-specific license. Unless expressly authorized in writing, AHQS materials may not be resold, redistributed, sublicensed, republished or represented as official materials of an accrediting or standards organization.

Third-Party Platforms

Google Calendar, Payhip and other third-party links are provided for convenience. Their availability, terms, privacy practices and security are controlled by those providers, not AHQS.

Engagement Terms

Paid consulting work should be governed by a separate written proposal, statement of work or agreement describing scope, fees, responsibilities, confidentiality, deliverables, limitations and other applicable terms. If those signed terms conflict with this website, the signed engagement terms control for that engagement.

Effective date: August 12, 2026. This website policy is provided for general business transparency and should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel as AHQS grows, enters new jurisdictions, or changes how data is collected or services are delivered.

INDEPENDENCE & PROFESSIONAL DISCLAIMER

Accreditation Independence, Trademarks & Professional Boundaries

Independent Advisory Practice

AHQS is an independent healthcare quality and accreditation-readiness consulting practice. AHQS is not an accreditation body and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, authorized by, or endorsed by Joint Commission International (JCI), the College of American Pathologists (CAP), AABB, the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), or other accrediting/standards organizations unless AHQS expressly states otherwise in writing and can document that relationship.

Use of Accreditation Names

References to JCI, ISO 15189, CAP and AABB are used descriptively to identify accreditation programs, standards and client-readiness needs. AHQS does not use the official logos, seals or accreditation marks of those organizations on this website.

Trademark Notice

JCI/Joint Commission International and related marks belong to the Joint Commission enterprise; CAP and its marks belong to the College of American Pathologists; AABB and its marks belong to the Association for the Advancement of Blood & Biotherapies; ISO and the ISO logo are protected marks of the International Organization for Standardization. All third-party trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

Standards & Proprietary Materials

AHQS does not publish or redistribute proprietary accreditation checklists, manuals, standards or copyrighted materials without authorization. Clients remain responsible for obtaining current authorized copies of standards and accreditation resources applicable to them.

No Guaranteed Outcome

Readiness assessments, mock surveys, audit support, education, templates and consulting cannot guarantee accreditation, reaccreditation, certification, survey results, absence of findings, financial outcomes or specific performance improvements.

Professional Experience Claims

Descriptions of founder experience and credentials refer to professional history and qualifications. They should not be interpreted as a claim that AHQS acts as an official surveyor, accreditor or representative of any third-party accreditation organization in client engagements unless specifically authorized.
